Lindsay Martin started her Martial Arts career during the latter part of 1998. Lindsay accepted the post of Academy Treasurer in 1999 and has held the post ever since. Apart from the instructors at the Academy she has gone on to enjoy instruction from Soke I. Steadman (Budo of Great Britain), Sensei K. Hall (Fudoshin Association) and Sensei Fay Goodman (Masamune Dojo). Success has come early for Lindsay, due to her hard work and dedication, achieving high grades in Aikido, Karate, and now a Dan grade in Jujitsu and Iaido. In 2004 Lindsay added the ladies version of the Bushido trophy to her trophy cabinet at only her second attempt.
