Notts & Derby Kyu-Shin-Do Judo and Martial Arts Clubs Annual Summer Camping Weekend

Perlethorpe, Thoresby Park Nottinghamshire - Friday 30th July - Sunday 1st August

Itinerary for weekend

30 th July 2010

The site will be open from 12 noon

· 12 noon onwards pitch tents  
· 6pm - Ride out to local restaurant for evening meal / if interested (approximately 3 miles away) 
· 7pm – Gathering on the camp site to meet and chat with friends old and new  
· 7pm – Football match children and adults (if you dare) 
· 8pm – Activities for children 
· 11pm – Lights out 

If the weather is not suitable it will be a trip down to the Perlethorpe Club for refreshments.

31 st July 2010

· 7am – Time to get up!  
· 8.30am - Ride out to local cafe for breakfast (approximately 3 miles away) 
· 10am – Martial Arts Course starts at the Perlethorpe Village Hall deep in the heart of Thorseby Estate 

Judo, Karate, Ko-budo, Self defence, Games for kids. There will be a break for lunch at 12noon till 12.30pm

· 4pm – End of course 
· 4.30pm - Time to return to the camp site 
· 7pm – Party night at Perlethorpe Village Hall / disco starts at 7pm 
· 8.30pm – BBQ 
· 11.30pm – Party closes / back to the camp site for more refreshments 

1 st August 2010

· 7am – Time to get up! 
· 8.30am - Ride out to local cafe for breakfast (approximately 3 miles away) 
· 10am – Treasure hunt on Thoresby Estate 
· 12noon – Cricket match / Football match 
· 3pm – End of weekend – have a safe journey home 

Cost for the weekend will be £40.00 for a tent of four people. If more than four in one tent an additional £6.00 per person will apply.

· Two nights camping in Thoresby Estate 
· Toilet facilities on site 
· Course fee for persons in the tent 
· Party night at Perlethorpe Village Hall 
· Disco Saturday night

Course in memory of Sensei Charles Fletcher

Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th September

Warsop Judo club - Notts and Derby Area will be hosting a two day martial arts course on the above dates in memory of Sensei Charles Fletcher.

All are welcome to come along and join us for the weekend.  We hope that as many as possible can come and share their knowledge and train with us.  It will cost £10 per person for two full days of training. We are hoping to include as many martial arts as possible so if you would like to help instruct or take a mat please contact us and let us know what you want to do as soon as possible.
